In 2026, the DEA Educational Foundation (DEAEF) proudly marks a milestone: 25 years of impact. For a quarter century, the DEAEF has stood at the intersection of education, prevention, and hope, guided by one enduring belief.
A new culinary program in Richmond, Virginia brought students, chefs, and community partners together in a meaningful way. Launched by the DEA Washington’s Operation Engage and DEA Educational Foundation (DEAEF), the eight-week series invited youth to step into a hands-on kitchen space.
The DEA Educational Foundation returned to the Seattle area this October with two impactful Health and Wellness Days at local elementary schools, continuing a partnership that is building healthier lifestyles and long-term sustainability for youth in the region.

Every year, the DEA Educational Foundation’s National Scholarship Programs/Awards help promising students across the country continue their journey in dance or martial arts: pathways that inspire confidence, discipline, and a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.
These programs are part of the Foundation’s growing national effort to provide youth with positive experiences through dance, movement, prevention education, and mentorship.
This spring, the program wrapped up another successful session at Barger Academy of Fine Arts, where students in grades 3–5 met twice a week for 10-weeks to learn modern and hip hop.
